Constraints to Online success

Part One

You're excited, you're eager, you have a vision, you want to be successful in your online business but, there are hurdles and constraints holding you back. You can't seem to make progress with your ideas. There's light at the end of the tunnel but you can't seem to quite get there. Your success is always just out of your grasp.

Welcome to the real world. This is normal for most entrepreneurs. Progress and accomplishment never go straight up. There is always a plateau along the way which can be difficult to overcome. Rather than look at your plateau as discouraging, you need to view it as a time for building up reserve energy for that last final climb which will carry you to the top.

Use your plateau as a time to catch your breath and reflect on and reinforce your vision and goals. Take time to clear your head and prepare yourself for the final ascent. Use it to evaluate your efficiency - get rid of habits which tend to slow you down and work on developing habits that will make you better prepared and positioned for new challenges when you breakout at the top.

This is part one of four essays designed to help you become that leaner, quicker and stronger person to overcome some of those challenges. Overcoming the plateau to your online business success should not be viewed as a roadblock but only as a hurdle or challenge. The only roadblock to success is you. Only you can prevent yourself from making that final ascent to the top of the mountain. As long as you keep pressing forward no matter how hard or long it may seem you will find the answers to the hurdles and challenges in your path.

Over the years I have been able to build several houses. I was not in the house construction business but I had a desire and a goal to accomplish that task. It seemed daunting and at times undoable. But by utilizing the proper tools, planning, resources and help I was able to achieve my vision. There were times when I would become discouraged either because the project was not moving fast enough or a problem arose which seemed to have no solution. But as long as I kept moving and thinking about the problem I always came up with an answer, in fact I now say that building a house is not so much skill as it is problem solving. And that makes it fun because I know every problem can be solved.

The same is true in business. You are not the first one to run into hurdles that seem to be preventing you from accomplishment. Learn to utilize the many resources and tools available. And make use of the experience of others either through online business forums or through the services others may provide.

In further essays I will be discussing the three most common hurdles to being successful online. The three challenges all entrepreneurs must face and overcome are:

3. Money Management
